The challenge
People joining an automotive business are expected to talk about engines and driver aids from week one, usually without a mechanical background.
What we did
A five-lesson Rise primer from first principles to current technology, readable on a phone as well as a desk. Sequential ideas — the four-stroke cycle, for example — are laid out as a process rather than a paragraph. Systems that compete for the same explanation sit so each can be read on its own terms. Progress is tracked lesson by lesson, so someone picking it back up knows where they stopped.
